Scot Holland Smith, 63, of Dover, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.

Scot was born on May 4, 1963, in Russellville, Arkansas, to the late J.E. Smith and Laralnel Baker Smith. He dedicated his career as a master electrician, earning the respect of those who knew him for his hard work, skill, and willingness to help others.

Outside of work, Scot found great enjoyment in the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting, rebuilding old cars, working on lawn mowers, and gardening. He was happiest when working with his hands, fixing things, and spending time doing the hobbies he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children, Wanda Williams Hughes.

Scot is survived by his loving wife, Genella Garrett Smith of Dover; his children, Mikayla Smith, Rachel Smith, and Doug Smith (Emily Roberts-Smith); his sister, Lisa Harvell (Bobby); grandson Justin Smith; two stepchildren, Ronnie Cross (Brenna) and Jimmy Cross III; two step grandchildren, Maggie Cross and Asa Cross, along with numerous other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Memorial Service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Pleasant Grove Community Church in Dover.
