Shannon O'Glee Rev. Shannon Clyde O'Glee age 93 of Ola, Arkansas formerly of Haughton, Louisiana, died Saturday, November 7, 2015 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born October 22, 1922 in Walkers Creek, Arkansas to the late Richard May and Lila Bea Tompkins O'Glee. He was a member of the Plainview First Baptist Church, a United States Army and Air Force Veteran, minister of the gospel and a pastor for 32 years. He was a great storyteller who loved to fish, sing, travel and visit with people. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 63 years, Bonnie Jean Lewis O'Glee; one son, Michael Lynn O'Glee; three sisters, Geneva Johnson, Helen Templeton, Irma Carver; two brothers, R.L. O'Glee and Sylvester O'Glee. Survivors include three children, Peggy O'Glee of Casa, Arkansas, Sandi O'Glee Cain of Houston, Texas, Patrick O'Glee of Doyline, Louisiana; two sisters, Virginia Ann Tyler of Shrevport, Louisiana, Glenda Young of Vivian, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 1:00P.M., Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Haughton Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana with Rev. Weyland Gauntt officiating.
