Sherry Lynn Johns, saved by Grace by her Lord Jesus Christ, has departed the world of heartache and sorrow for her new home in paradise, where the tree of life is blooming and shall never grow old. She won her crown and will be so missed, but not for very long. We shall all join her soon as we gather around God's Throne. She was born March 27, 1948 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Robert Barefield and Earnestine Fisher. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Shelia Bevill, Cindy Shelton and her nephew, Anthony Barefield.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bruce Johns; two children, Michael Johns (Christy), Jessica Treas (Josh); two brothers, Jimmy Barefield (Sylvia), Micky Barefield (Carolyn); one grandson, Ty Hale and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, January2, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle.
