Shirley Ann Brothers, 87 of Ola, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. She was born July 21,1935 in Bates, Arkansas to the late Edgar and Talitha (Thompson) Pottridge.
She was a mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior Brothers; grandson, Donald Wayne Lacy; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Johnson, Dalton Johnson, and Lee Allen Hullett; brothers, Leon Pottridge, Gene Pottridge, Doss Pottridge; sisters, Twilla Maxwell, Peggy Bennett, Linda Hill, Betty Stafford; and son-in-law Carl Hales.
Survivors are her six children, Paul and Brenda Brothers of Plainview, Wayne and Cindy Brothers of Ola, Patsy Hales of Rover, JoAnn and Ken Stevens of Fayetteville, Don and Lynne Brothers of Birta, Carolyn and Terry Stewart of Ola; brother, Gary and Ann Pottridge of Bates, Arkansas; 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren; and one great-great-great grandson.
Pallbearers include Cody Lacy, Jason Stewart, Russell Brothers, Billy Lacy, Stephen Brothers, Kenny Stevens, and Anthony Brothers.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 7th, at Jesus Name Pentecostal Church, Planview with Brother Stacy Lisenbey officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery, Kingston.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. before the service at the church.
