Even teaching crochet and sewing classes. She loved her special friends and they affectionately referred to her as "Mama Shirley."
Shirley enjoyed estate sales and auctions. Often she would be seen on weekends looking for those deals and bargains. Shirley is best known for her quick wit one liners and no-nonsense approach. A caregiver by nature she had a love and compassion for the elderly and disabled.
Telling tall tales and jokes to friends was her favorite thing to do.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time with loved ones, make calls and visits while you can. As Shirley would say, show people your "flowers" while they are here to enjoy them.
