Shirley Christine Croy

December 20, 1957 – April 28, 2023

Shirley Christine Croy, age 65 of Dardanelle, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Shirley had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She was a private and quiet person, but also very witty and fun! She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She loved her trips with her husband of 49 years, Ray .

Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Ray Croy; and children, Shannon Croy of Conway, Arkansas, Scotty Croy and his fiancé Felicia of Vilonia, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Linda Arnold of Richmond, Texas; precious grandchildren, Rebekah Mitchell, Raeley Croy, Lacey Croy, Summer Croy, Everly Croy. Forever remembered by her siblings, J.L. Haney, Lonnie Haney, Liz Tarkington, Hilda Passmore all of Dardanelle, Donna Shepard of Plainview, Kitty O'Gwyn of Cabot and Lee Ellen Hicks of Atkins.

Shirley was born on December 20, 1957 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to George and Johnnie Mae Alverson Haney. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Georgie Troy, Roselea Jordan and brothers, G.B. Haney and Tommy Haney.

Shirley was a kind and thoughtful soul that will be missed and remembered by many lives she touched. Shirley, everyone you left in this world is saddened that you are gone but we are happy that you are free and painless, and looking into the face of Jesus, as you have so longed to do. We will always love and miss you until we meet again.

Visitation will be held Monday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Tuesday at New Hope Cemetery in Dardanelle with Pastor Blaine Rogers officiating.

Pallbearers will be Corey Madison, Austin Archer, Carter Archer, Nathan Middlebrook, Shane Shepard, Shon Wilson and Harris Owens.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Stephen Wilson, Dr. Ron Boyle, Nick Madison, Mark Archer, Danny Tarkington, Mike Shepard, Michael Williams and Kevyn Strong.
