Obituary

Shirley Jean Hanson age 75 of Dardanelle died Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born June 24, 1943 at Jacksonville, IL to the late James and Betty Patterson Hawk. She was of the Baptist Faith and she loved her grandchildren. She loved to go to Bingo, loved her flower gardens, cats, hummingbirds and Nascar, Jeff Gordon. When she was younger she raised Tea Cup Poodles. She was preceded in death by her father, James Hawks; mother, Betty Landes and the father of her children, Bob Stout.

Survivors include her children, Mark Stout and wife Kathy of Madison, Ohio, Pam Norris and husband Michael of Dardanelle, Bobby Stout of Madison, Ohio; one brother, Scott Landes and wife Nancy of Alton, IL; one sister, Shelby Staake and husband Brian of Meredosia, IL; six grandchildren, Nikki Osborn, D.J. McGehe, Dallas Stout, Michael Scott Norris, Dusty Norris, Misty Vines and eleven great grandchildren, Laney Osborn, Rayley Osborn, Khloe Osborn, Kylie McGehe, Makaylynn McGehe, Landen McGehe, Eli, Eurijah, Evie Norris, Jacey Vines, Logan and Mason Vines.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30P.M., Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 2:30P.M. to 3:30P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be private in New Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local animal shelter.
