Shirley Edith Hickey age 85 of Danville, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Mitchells Nursing Home in Danville. She was born May 6, 1939 in Pottsville, Arkansas to the late Orval K. Jones and Dessie Dee Richey Jones. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Ed Hickey; son, Robert Romine; siblings, J.D., Doyle, Ray, Marjorie, Bill, Ben, Johnny, Linda, Rockey and a grandchild, Gary Hickey.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Hickey (Suzie), Mike Hickey; siblings, Bob, Susan, Judy; grandchildren, Liz Romine, John Mark (Leslie), Felicia, Haleigh, Ashlyn, Chase; great grandchildren, Kate Harrell, Abby and Gabe Hickey and Cameron Garcia and Ben Staggs.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Jeff Howell officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville.

Pallbearers will be Gordan Miller, Bailey Myers, Chris Mans, Chase Hickey, Mike Hickey, John Hickey, and Mark Hickey.
