Shirley Jean Jay age 74 of Dardanelle, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born July 16, 1950 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Edwin P. Manes and Pauline Tucker Manes. Shirley loved being with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Manes; her husband, Kenneth Jay and a brother, Dwayne Manes.

Survivors include her mother, Pauline Manes; one son, Michael Jay (Mandy); sister, Carol Spall; five grandchildren, Dylan Jay (Tabby Stewart), Bryson Jay, Abby Weatherley (Carter), Keely McClellan, Sophie McClellan and two great grandchildren, Kinsley and Tatum Weatherley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Thursday, February 13, 2025 Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Ryan Manes officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service.
