Shirley Louise Lind, peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the age of 97 at the Arkansas Hospice House in Russellville, Arkansas. Daughter of the late Aldoph G. and Pearl E. Bitter Oswald, she was born July 6, 1925 in St. Paul, Minnesota. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Albert Henry Lind, and her brother Fred Oswald.

Shirley worked for General Mills and Honeywell, and retired from Unisys in 1989. She was a long time member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic church in New Brighton, Minnesota. She loved to sing and play the piano. She sang in the church and community choirs for many years. Shirley enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and socializing with her many close neighbors who were like family to her. Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Deborah Oxford of Mora, Minnesota, Candice Daubenheyer (Fred) of Russellville, Arkansas, Catherine Schuler of Hinsdale Illinois; her brother Aldolph Oswald (Marge) of St. Paul, Minnesota; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, six nephews and four nieces.

Funeral Mass will be held in St. Paul, MN, date and time to be determined.
