Shirley Montel Loyd, 80 of Danville, passed away November 5, 2019 at Danville. She was born June 7, 1939 in Riverside, California.

She was the retired owner and operator of Western Auto in Danville with her husband for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Louise Price Anderson.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Jim Loyd; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Monty and Jackie Loyd of Dardanelle, Tim and Danielle Loyd of Danville; 2 sisters, Jo Anderson of Russellville, Doris Gibson of Little Rock; 8 grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Kaylee, Callie, Destiny, Winter, Summer, Zachary; 4 great-grandchildren, Tegan, Jase, Karsten, Legend James.

Funeral service will be Friday, November 8 ^th , 10:00 a.m., at Danville First Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Loyd officiating. Burial will be at Blue Mountain Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home in Danville.

Pallbearers include Loyd Ryan, Dale Dickens, Tommy Smith, A.J. Smith, Larry Hall, and Jordan Hall.
