Shirley Mae "Sheryl" Lampkins age 85 of Belleville passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.
Sheryl was born October 24, 1937 in Belleville Arkansas to the late W.W & Mae Bankston Douthit. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. In her early years, she was well known for breaking horses. She loved to dance, she enjoyed working, gardening, hunting, fishing and riding in the mountains.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Lampkins; sweetheart, E.T. McConnell; brother, John Douthit and wife June; sisters; Dorothy Douthit, and Louise Blank; step-sons, Jack Lampkins, Jerry Lampkins and Jimmy McConnell; niece, Connie Douthit.
Survivors include her daughter, Pharoh J. Stone of St. Louis. MO.; nephews, Clayton and David Douthit of Sims; niece Johnny Beth Tune of Dallas, TX.; 2 nd family, Corky & Debbie McConnell of Ranger; Betty Carol & Larry Crites of Centerville; Troy & Lisa McConnell of Birta; good friends, Judy White of Belleville and Melvin & Sandy Bottoms of Belleville; and her fur baby Lady.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Ranger Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Shane Chancellor officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 pm before service at the church. Burial will be at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers include, Corky McConnell, Troy McConnell, John McConnell, Doyle Buckman, Ricky Crites and Larry Wayne Crites. Honorary pallbearers include Melvin Bottoms, Dr. Phillip Tippin, Ryan McElroy and Greg Bottoms.
