Somphien Lohisen, age 64 of Russellville, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born April 2, 1960 in Vientiane, Laos to the late Bountung Lohisen and Keo Lohisen. He attended the Wat Arkansas Buddhavanaran Temple in Fort Smith. He loved to fish and spend time with family. Somphien was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Souvannakhot; stepchildren, Backy Sivongthong of Russellville, Ted Sivongthong of Freemont, Ohio, Andy Ratsphangthong of Dover, Arkansas, Billy Ratsphangthong of Conway, Arkansas; one brother; three sisters; grandchildren, Maya, Zayden, Kai, Liam, Cohen and a niece, Keo (Prasouk) Phrommala of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle, Arkansas.
