Stephen Wayne Lawrence, age 69 of Russellville, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born October 15, 1953 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Kenneth "Raz" Lawrence and Vivian Staggs Lawrence. He was a member of the Dardanelle First United Methodist Church, he was a stereophile and avid music lover. Steve was a sports fan and loved cheering on Arkansas Tech, the Razorbacks, and any sport his children were playing. His favorite thing to do the last two years was spend time with his beloved grand-daughter, AvaKay. Steve was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry Lawrence, Jerry Lawrence; one sister, Linda Lawrence McMinn and one nephew, Larry Stephen Lawrence.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Lisa Lawrence of Russellville; two children, Will Lawrence of Russellville, Taylor Lawrence of Russellville; one grandchild, AvaKay of Russellville; one nephew, Jody Lawrence and one niece, Michelle Young (Ron).

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle with Rev. Jim Benfer officiating. Visitation will be held immediately after the service in the Family Life Center.

Pallbearers will be Bo Hardgraves, John Palmer, Jarod Higginbotham, Ronnie Butts, Terry Bewley, Gary Bewley, Will Prewitt and John Berry.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Darin Chancellor, Ben Anderson, Brent Taylor, Marty Sabolo, George Warman, Mark Davenport and Bro. David Scroggin.
