Obituary

Steven E. (Steve) Murders, 76 of Dardanelle, Arkansas passed away October 15, 2017.

The son of Herman and Jewell Murders was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on January 5, 1941. Steve grew up in Houston, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and Cuban Missile Crisis. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, H.D. (David) and Danny L. Murders.

Steve loved to cook on the grill and was extremely proud of his brisket served with a hot frito salad. He also loved his dogs which were often riding shotgun.

Survivors include his son, Randy Murders and wife Crystal, Dardanelle, daughter, Tanya Gillett of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Raven Murders, Rane Murders, Randi Murders, Ivie Hight, Steven Hight, Johnny Floyd; one great granddaughter, Kairi Amelia Dodd; brother, Phillip Murders and wife Kim of Russellville; sister-in-law, Francis Murders of West Fork, Arkansas and Steve had many nieces and nephews.

Steve was cremated and his wish is for his ashes to be scattered on his farm. A celebration of Steves life will be announced at a later time.
