Susie Marie Bales age 54 of Ola passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Baptist Hospital Medical Center in Little Rock.

She was born January 14, 1964 in Danville, Arkansas to Kirby Leon & Patricia Ann Ferguson Summit. Susie loved life, her kids, grandkids and was very excited about the arrival of Miss Paisley Storey.

Preceded in death by her, fathers, Leon Summit and Paul Robison; son, Freman Leon Bales; sister Leona Kaye Summit; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Freman & Laura Bales; brother-in-law, Waymon Bales.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Steve Bales; children, Stephanie Bales of Ola; Dustin Storey of Russellville; mother, Patricia Ann Summit of Ola; sisters, Cynthia & Wayne Brothers of Ola; Rene Mitchell & David Ruggerri of Pine Bluff; Angela Jones of Maumelle; Misty & Paul Poynor of Ola; Amanda & Hershel Shipman of Pilot Knob, MO; Ginger & William Willcutt of Ola; Nicky Summit of Ola; grandchildren, Mason, Auston, Karson, Maddilynn Bales; Paisley Storey, Furr Baby Lily and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Friday, March 30, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Ola with Bro. Donald Walker and Bro. Rick Balentine officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 29 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sandlin Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Wayne Brothers, Hershel Shipman, David Brothers, Brandon Brothers, Ty Willcutt, Tony Brothers, Jonathan Sparks and Dylan Brothers.

Honorary pallbearers include Paul Poynor, William Willcutt, Virgil Bales, Clay Storment, Dustin Kennedy, Dustin Cook, Gary Summit, Zac Tippin, John Stafford and Gerald Hall.
