Syble Jaunita Millard Mathis age 91 of Dequincy, LA. passed away April 17, 2014 at her home. She was born October 22, 1922 in Kilgore, TX to the late Ernest & Ophelia Mullins Millard. She was a mother, homemaker and retired from Proctor & Gamble. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers Oather, Luther, Henry, Bobby Millard; sisters Ceila Turk, Evelyn Terrell and Ola Millard. Survivors include her sister Estell Tharp of Little Rock, AR; daughters, Jannette Monceaux of Dequincy, LA; Sharron & ( Paul) Lanoue of New Orleans, LA; son, Robert &( Linda) Mathis of New Orleans, LA; ; Michelle Bertrand of Santa Fe, TX; Ramona Matthews of Jennings, LA; Charles Monceaux of Dequincy, LA; grandchildren Melanie Mathis, Angela Mathis, Lori Mathis, Matthew Lanoue all of New Orleans, LA; Elizabeth Walker of Pearland TX 12 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren; Memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 2, at Danville Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
