Sylvia Deane Southard age 90 of Gravelly passed Saturday, December 30, 2023 at St Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

Sylvia was born June 21, 1933 in Gravelly, Arkansas to the late Earl & Lillie Jo Horton Hunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Southard; parents; brother, Douglas Hunt and sister, Ruth Hunnicutt.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Frank & Patti Southard of Atkins; grandchildren, Andrea & Alex Crowder of Perryville; Cameron & Brooke Southard of Atkins; Bradley & Heather Southard of Atkins; Lori Ann & Casey Childress of Atkins; great-grandchildren, Allie, Will, Dylan Crowder; Carsyn, and Claire Southard; Samuel and Sidney Childress; sister-in-law, Earnestine Hunt of Oakridge, TN.; and a host of nephews, nieces. Family and friends.

Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Parks Cemetery with Rev. David Bishop and Rev. Scott Warren officiating.

Pallbearers include grandsons, Cameron Southard, Bradley Southard, Alex Crowder, Casey Childress, Will Crowder, and Dylan Crowder.
