Lobelia Ward

Sylvia Lobelia Ward age 79 of Russellville died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born July 23, 1939 at Pope County to the late Thomas Andrew and Bessie Whorton Martin. She retired from Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center after thirty four and a half years as a Surgical and O.B. Nurse where she received many awards. She was a Charter Member of the Arkansas Sheriffs Youth Ranches and she loved music, The Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball and Football Games and having friends over for coffee. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Ward.

Survivors include her special friend, Don White and many special friends and Ward Family Cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, January 4, 2019 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Rick Balentine officiating. Visitation will be held after the service at the chapel. Burial will be private in Brearley Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Newton, Dr. Matt Self, Dr. Danny Acquilar, Carl Rackley and special friends of Bakers Creek Baptist Church.
