Teddy Gooch

Teddy Merritt Gooch age 74 of Centerville died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born March 6, 1941 at Detroit, Michigan to the late Kie Theodore and Mildred Banks Gooch. He was a 1959 graduate of Dardanelle High School and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, LeRoy Gooch.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Reece Gooch of Centerville; one son, Douglas Gooch of Centerville; two daughters, Christie Minnie (Shelby) of Cabot, Karen Baskin of Russellville; grandchildren, Jonathan Baskin (Heather) of Centerville, Trent Baskin of Russellville; great grandchildren, Paul, Beau and Allie Baskin of Centerville; sister, Beverly Adams (Terry) of Hot Springs; Niece, Kimberly Colaluce; one nephew, Kurt Gooch both of Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Mt. George Church of Christ with Bro. Chris George officiating. Burial will be in Dacus Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Sonny Breashears, Billy Joe Breashears, Jonathan Baskin, Trent Baskin, Jeff Reece, Shelby Minnie.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lowell Reece, Bud Reece, Clifton Reece, Tim Baskin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home, 220 John Babish Lane, Russellville, Arkansas 72801.
