Teddy "Ted" Wayne Cantrell age 93 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born June 8, 1926 at Jenks, Oklahoma to the late Clour and Lois Cue Cantrell. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dardanelle, a United States Navy Veteran during WWII and the Korean War. He retired from the U.S. Corp. of Engineers after 24 years of Service. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Edna Yeary Cantrell and one brother, Bob Cantrell.

Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Pearson, Susan Standridge and husband  Michael; brothers, Donald Cantrell and wife Doris, Doyle Cantrell; sisters, Betty Davis, Janet Lynn Borum and husband Mike; three grandchildren, Chris McEntyre and wife Amy, Jessica Wilson and husband David, David Standridge and wife Maegan; four great grandchildren, Ashton McEntyre, Alyssa McEntyre, Peyton Simmons, William Standridge and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike McEntyre, David Standridge, Doyle McEntyre, Michael Standridge, Lance Adams and Dave Evans.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Employees of the Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center.
