Teresa Sue
Jackson
October 10, 1959 – January 7, 2021
Teresa Sue Jackson (Olson) born October 10th, 1959, passed away surrounded by her amazing caregivers at the Atkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday January 7th, 2021, she was 61.
Teresa was born in Crete, Nebraska to the late Raymond Olson and Winona Faye Olson (Phillips). She was a former caregiver herself over the years at Legacy Lodge, Stella Manor, and the Ola Nursing Home. Teresa was always smiling and ready to lend a helping hand or a tool - maybe even an electric drill that she always carried with her. She loved animals and especially her most recent pet Sarge. If you knew her she was a true confidante and always full of wit, resources, and sarcasm when needed.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; a special companion, Lonnie Dickens; a sister, Brenda Miller; and three brothers, James Michael Olson; Greg Olson; and Jeff Olson.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael Norris of Russellville, and Justin Newman of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; three brothers, Larry Olson and wife Melissa of Benk, Germany; Calvin Olson of Caddo Mills, Texas; and Jackie Olson of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and extended family.
The family has honored her wishes for cremation. Due to the coronavirus pandemic there will be no public viewing or funeral. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to the National Parkinson's Foundation instead.
