Thearlin "Kay" Barber, age 79 of Pottsville, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born January 29, 1945 in Cowell, Arkansas to the late James Harlen Sain and Daphne Marie Curtis Sain. She was preceded in death by her parents, James "Buddy" and Daphne Sain.

Kay was a LPN/Administrator at Arkins Nursing Home for many years. She was caring to her residents and staff. She was a loving mother and a faithful servant to Jehovah. She lived her life according to the Bible and Jesus example to show love and care for others.

Survivors include two children, Michael Barber of Pottsville, Ember and Will Owens of Dover; two brothers, Jimmy and Marilou Sain of Pelsor, Joe A. and Kay Sain of Pelsor; two sisters, Glenna and Burl Adams of Pelsor, Nedra and Bob Breedlove of Pelsor; four grandchildren, Lydia Crowley, Austin Barber, Stella Owens, Lola Owens; one great grandchild, Adalyn Barber and a daughter-in-law, Marla Barber of Omaha, Arkansas.

Family conducted memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1207 East 16th Street, Russellville, Arkansas.
