Ted Cook

Thedus "Ted" Harlan Cook age 87 of Russellville died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Arkansas Hospice River valley Home in Russellville. He was born August 6, 1928 at Judsonia to the late Burt and Valeta Veryl Cook. He was a United States Navy Veteran during WWII and was a member of the Victory Missionary Baptist Church. Ted was also a pastor where he preached for several churches in the River Valley. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Vicky Lynn Cook; one brother, W.C. Cook; two sisters, Anna Lee Bullard and Vernel Gasaway.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lula Mae Cook of Russellville; one son, Harlan J. Cook of Russellville; one daughter, Cara Beth Bryant (Robert) of Colorado; four sisters, Valerie Marshall of Arizona, Alice June Frett (Al) of Russellville, Barbara Garman of California, Jewell Ann Cook of Washington State; three grandchildren, Heather Nicole Perry of Oklahoma, Andrea Anders, Stephanie Bryant both of Colorado.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, March 14, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Doug Hambrick officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be David Campbell, James Campbell, Aaron Campbell, Kevin Campbell, John Gasaway and Chad Rye.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Leo Stone, Rick Stone, Bill Barker, Jim Glover, Thomas Griffin, Steve Long, John NewKirk, Don McCaslin, John Crites and Kelly Wolhart.
