Thelma Gene Pitts Butler age 96 of Ola died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ola First Baptist Church and she loved gardening, flowers and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Leslie Pitts and her husband, Arthur Butler.

Survivors include one son, Billy Butler and LaRae of Dardanelle, two daughters, Patsy and David Bishop of Atkins, Jeannie Butler of Russellville; three sisters, Ruth Clay of Ola, Betty Clay of Little Rock, Dorothy Wong of Florida; brothers, Louis Pitts of Ola, Henry Pitts of California; five granddaughters; eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the Ola First Baptist Church with Ken Reece officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Sandlin Cemetery in Ola.

Pallbearers will be Randy Clay, Danny Wong, Madison Brannon, Dow Griffin, Steve Pitts and Eddie Bewely.
