Ted Latham Theodore Edward (Ted) Latham age 84 of Dardanelle died peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born September 20, 1928 at to Fred Edward and Alma Lorrine (Faulkner) at the home in Dardanelle. Ted married Dessie Lou Snider on August 26, 1950. They moved to Waldon, Colorado where Ted continued as a logger. After their first child was born, they moved back to Arkansas where Ted joined the National Guard. His love for the mountains brought him and his family back to Colorado where he worked in a lumber mill. Ted's final years were spent in Dardanelle, Arkansas enjoying his land, fishing and his family. Ted was preceded in death by his father, Fred Latham; mother, Alma (Faulkner) Latham; his brothers, James Latham, Thermon Latham, Benny Latham, Robert Latham; his sisters, Annylois Darwin and his granddaughter, Teresa Lyn Hill. Survivors include his wife, Dessie Latham; his brothers, Freddy Latham, Jody Latham, Chester Latham, Floyd Latham; his sisters, Annyjean Darwin and Maryruth Latham;his children, Carolyn Latham (Mike Conner), Danny (Cathy) Latham, Janet (Edward) Cordova, Patricia (Pete) Cordova, Edward Latham (Christina Davis), Sheryl (Matt) Beacher, Sharon (Jeff) Christensen, Charlotte (Wilford) Cordova, 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will held at 2:00P.M., Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Welcome Home Church, 233 Welcome Home Road in Hector, Arkansas. . Burial will be in Hill Top Cemetery in Hector.
