Theodore Roosevelt Richey, age 100 of Dardanelle, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center. He was born August 21, 1923 in Iona, Arkansas to the late Homer Richey and Mary Ella Fair Passmore Richey. He was a member of the Faith Church and he loved gardening and selling watermelons. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 67 years, Oma Lee Richey and three sons, Jim Richey, Bobby Richey and Frankie Richey.

Survivors include his children, Jackie Taylor (Doug), Terry Richey (Nancy); grandchildren, Tanya, Jamie, Andrea, Jason Dean, Stewart, MaRya, Chelsea, Rayle, Angie, Jason Lee, Shawn, Desiree, Taj, Ashley and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Jimmy Turner officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Andy Lindemann, Aarin Lindemann, Todd Richey, Mike Smith, Stewart Richey and Evan Collins.

The family would like to thank Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center for their excellent care of Mr. Richey.
