Thomas Jason "Posum" Mathis, age 50 of Dardanelle, passed away, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home. He was born November 17, 1973 in Fourche Valley, Arkansas to the late Doug Mathis. Jason loved tinkering, building things, grilling and working on any vehicle. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandmother who raised him.

Survivors include his children, Samantha Mathis, Jadine Mathis, Kimberly Anderson, Brett Mathis, Major Mathis, Lucas Lawrence; many grandchildren and other family; his dog, Ellie and his military family.
