Obituary

Tim Dale Apple age 67 of Belleville passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at his home. He was born September 16, 1946 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Grady Johnie & Dorothy Gertrude Richeson Apple. He was a cattle and land farmer, a deacon and member of the Wilson Free Will Baptist Church, and a member of the Yell County Cattleman Association. Tim had a lifelong passion for farming, growing his first crop at the age of 12. He purchased his first farm equipment while in high school. He continued farming while attending Arkansas Tech. In 1977 he was selected second place "Outstanding Young Farmer" by the Arkansas Jaycees and was chosen as "Farm Family of the Year" for Yell County. He later expanded and added an excavation business to the farm. He was known for being a hard worker. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, of 43 years Carol Kuehn Apple; daughters & sons-in-law, Lisa & Joey Cook of No. Little Rock; Leslie & Justin Spears of Belleville; sister, Jenny (Virginia Ann) Sharrer of Houston, TX; brother & sister-in-law, Winston & Liz Apple of Madison, VA; grandchildren Zack & Lily Spears of Belleville; brothers & sisters-in-law, Vernon & Peggy Kuehn of Cumming, GA; Edwin & Beverly Kuehn of Broken Arrow, OK; and several nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Wilson Free Will Baptist Church in Belleville with Rev. Bobby Alexander officiating. Burial will be at Russell Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Tommy Apple, Lonnie Apple, Dan Apple, Brad Apple, Stan Garner and Larry Stanberry. Honorary pallbearers include Dale Knight, Clarence Bland, Bob Smith, and Boyce Page. Memorials may be made to Wilson Free Will Baptist Church P.O.
