Travis Vee Garner age 76 of Danville passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.

Travis was born December 18, 1940 in Waltreak, Arkansas to the late Velcie Edward & Otis Mae McInturf Garner. He was a retired Army National Guard Veteran, 212 Signal Battery, for 23 years. He was a retired tool and die maker, he was a cattle farmer and a retired poultry farmer, he drove a school bus for the Danville Public Schools for 32 years, he was a member of the Yell County Quorum Court for 23 years. Travis was a member of the Havana First Baptist Church where he was also a Sunday School teacher. He was a member of the Danville Masonic Lodge #41. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Glenn Garner and Rufus Garner, and a sister, Velva Lea Earls.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Ida Belle Hood Garner; children & spouses; Kelly & Randy Klober of Danville, Shannon Vee Garner of Houston, Texas, Troy Neal & Teri Garner of Danville; brother & sisters-in-law, Jesse & Linda Garner of Danville; Erma Lea Garner of Danville; sister & brother-in-law, Linda & Leroy Randall of Dardanelle; grandchildren, Kyle & Alana Klober, Travis Klober, Chris (Brent) Garner, Bryan & Sylvia Garner, McKenzie, Kayley and Mitchell Garner; great-grandchildren, Brasen, Brooks, and Isla Belle Klober, Maddie and Brody Garner; along with several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Havana First Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Horn officiating.

Burial with Masonic Rites will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, January 18 at the funeral home.
