Troy Lee Underwood age 81 of Dardanelle died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his home. He was born August 16, 1936 at Carden Bottoms to the late Clarence and Nadeen Holt Underwood. He was a member of the Centerville Church of Christ and he loved taking care of his yard, garden, taking care of family and friends, telling stories, eating Chicken Fried Steak at Old South, tinkering with motors and most of all he loved his Lord and loved his faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Price and Nolan Passmore.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Naomi Passmore Underwood of Dardanelle; one daughter, Brenda Kay Gist (Dennis) of Dardanelle; one sister, Clevia Price of Dardanelle; three grandchildren, Mikia Moulder (Ashley), Amanda Davis (Aaron), Tim Gist (Kathy) and six great grandchildren, Isaac Davis, Madelyn Davis, Brooklyn Moulder, Amber Alverson, Rayanna Gist, Kierra Gist and his dog, Buster.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Monday, December 11, 2017 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Stephen Sorrells officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Price, Danny Price, Jessie Price, Richard Price, Kenneth Taylor, Sonny Bersheres.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Taylor, Jim Ed Pickens, Kenny Gilbert and Carlis Boothe.
