Faye Dowdy Vada Faye Dowdy age 64 of Russellville died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at her home. She was born January 24, 1947 at Greeley, Colorado to Leland and Alice Williams McNulty. She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Russellville. She loved to bake, garden and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Dowdy and one sister, Vadonna McNulty. Survivors include two daughters, Laura A. Bailey and husband Roger of Durham, NC, Brenda Linton of Russellville; a son, Randy Dowdy of Rapid City, SD; one brother, Larry McNulty of Texas; six grandchildren, Destiney Dowdy of Worchester, Massachusetts, Anthony Pemberton of Russellville, Jenny Bailey of Durham, NC, Bryan Dowdy, Derek Dowdy, Kelsey Dowdy all of Rapid City, SD; one great grandson, Ryan Caruth of Durham, NC. Funeral services will be held 2:30P.M., Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Russellville with Pastor Larry Pettus officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Russellville. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the funeral home.
