Van William Anderson, age 89 of Delaware, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born March 18, 1932 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Adell Anderson. Van was a founding member of the Delaware First Baptist Church, and a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 63 years, Mary Evelyn Anderson; sons, Gary Van Anderson, Kirby Eugene Anderson, Timothy Allen Anderson and his siblings, Gaylen Deckard, Joe Anderson, James Michael Anderson and Buford Anderson.

Survivors include one son, James Daniel Anderson (Sandy) one brother, Richard "Butch" Anderson (Carol) of California; one sister, Gwenn Garr of Fremont, Iowa; fourteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
