Marie Butler

Vancie Marie Butler age 88 of Russellville died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Russellville Nursing Center. She was born December 2, 1922 at Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Jim and Verna Short. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus. She is preceded in death by her parents: her husband, Charles Butler: daughter, Linda Sparks: son Bobby Jones.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Jones of Russellville, Kacy and Mary Jones of Little Rock, Buddy and Patsy Jones of Russellville; two daughters, Shirley Willis and husband Jimmy of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Gail Jones of Russellville; six brothers, Ed Short, Johnny Short, Russell Short, Cecil Short, Kenneth Short, Danny Short; two sisters, Pat Atkinson, Connie White; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00P.M., Saturday, July 9, 2011at Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle with Bro. John McCourt officiating.
