Veda Jo Wilkerson

Veda Jo Wilkerson age 79 of Chickalah died Sunday February 28, 2016 at Mitchells Nursing Home in Danville. She was born May 11, 1936 in Cedar Creek to the late Henry Clay and Ovie May Williams Sigler. She was a retired nurse's aid, member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Center Ridge. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Sable Wilkerson.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 51 years, Kenneth Wilkerson, sons, Larry Maxwell (Rose), Kenneth Wilkerson, Jr. (Judy), brother, Lee Sigler (Wanda), sisters, Dean Wilson and Sue Horn, grandchildren, James Maxwell (Holly), Carl Causin (Suzanne), Scott Maxwell (Amber), Cindy Barringer (Bobby), Pamela Luker (Colby), Josie Maxwell Leon Wilkerson, host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, loved ones and friends.

Services will be Wednesday, 10 AM at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial

will be at 1 PM in Center Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6 to 8 PM at Cornwell Chapel. After the graveside service dinner will be served at the Atkins Masonic Lodge at 3:30.

Pallbearers will be Leon Wilkerson, Jeremy Wilkerson, Scott Maxwell, James Maxwell, Colby Luker and Bobby Barringer. Honorary will be Van Wilkerson and Carl Causin.
