Velzie Benjamin "Ben" Garner age 69 of Plainview passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at his home.

Ben was born October 14, 1950 in Dermott, Arkansas to Velzie M. "Dick" & Dorothy Louise Farve Garner. He was preceded in death by his father; son, Robert Lee; half-brother, Wilburn Garner; half-sister, Mildred Garner.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Garner; children, Mary Marie, Joyce Ann, Billy Joseph; half-brother, Bobby Garner of McGehee; sisters, Betty Schaffer and Cindy Garner of Belleville.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Hunt Cemetery (Hwy 80).
