Vernon Arnold Vernon Arnold age 89 of Dardanelle died Monday, February 25, 2013 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born July 18, 1923 at Joplin, Missouri to the late Frank Marion and Ada Lee Seaman Arnold. He was a member of the Dardanelle First Presbyterian Church. He served in the US Army, was a retired photographer, and had a great passion for the game of golf. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty Arnold; daughter, Cynthia Arnold and a brother, Earl Arnold. Survivors include his wife, Hollye Byrd Arnold of Dardanelle; one son, Doug Arnold and wife Becki of DeKalb, Texas; one stepson, Clyde Byrd of Little Rock; two grandsons, Jake Arnold and wife Alisa of Hot Springs, Eric Crowley and wife Mandy of Farmington; one step grandson, Kyle Byrd of North Little Rock; four great grandchildren, Ella and Tucker Arnold of Hot Springs, Brianna and Drew Crowley of Farmington. Special thanks to Dr. Kirkland, the staff of Dardanelle Hospital and Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center, also his personal caregivers Vickie Beachamp and Belinda Kelly.
