Violet Tackett Bullock age 96 of Dardanelle died Monday, September 19, 2016. She was born April 22, 1920 at Harkey Valley to the late Luther L. and Ida Mae Harris Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lewis Tackett; her second husband, Idus R. Bullock; two daughters, Brenda Joyce Wallis; Glenda Louise Tackett; one son, Paul E. Tackett; one brother, Glenn Morgan and one sister, Irene Sims.

She was a lifelong member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ and enjoyed a long and respected tenure as a first day hand with Tyson Foods & Processing. Many River Valley residents remember Mrs. Violet's beautiful gardens of petunia and iris as well as her sweet pecans and strawberries.

Survivors include her daughter, Norma Jones Bishop of Little Rock,; one son-in-law,; Jack Wallis of Little Rock; one grandson, Gregg Jones (Elizabeth) of Little Rock; three great grandchildren, Lauren Jones, Katie Jones, Grace Morgan Jones; one great great grandchild, Hope Elizabeth Reifeiss and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M, Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Dardanelle Church of Christ. Visitation will be held Friday, 10:00A.M. to 11:00A.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be private at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.
