Violet McCoy Violet Mae Hodges McCoy age 84 of Russellville died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born March 5, 1930 at Bee branch to the late Luke McKnight and Nossie Fullerton McKnight Clubb. She retired after 23 years at Valmac Foods and after 14 years at Dardanelle Hospital as a cook. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert "Judge" Hodges and her second husband, Clyde McCoy; one brother, Ralph McKnight and a sister, Virgie Campbell. Survivors include her son, Alan Hodges of Pottsville; one brother, Dwayne McKnight of Dardanelle; two sisters, Minnie Teeter of Russellville, Ruby Lakey of Huntsville; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Saturday, 9:00A.M., to 10:00A.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be in Durvin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jack McKnight, Jim McKnight, Ken McKnight, Bill Teeter, Ronnie Hodges, Larry Crites. Arrangements Are By Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
