Violet Turney Violet Ray "Mason" Turney age 81 of New Blaine died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Sparks health System. She was born October 24, 1932 in Pope County to the late Charlie and Patsy Ingram mason. She loved to fish, tell stories, work in the garden, read and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Turney; one son, Johnny Turney; two grandchildren, Dwayne Turney and Averie Cauthon. Survivors include nine children, Brenda Tran and husband Tahanh of Russellville, Ronnie Turney of New Blaine, Gayle Kendall and husband Frank of Carrollton, MS, Wayne Turney of new Blaine, Carol Jurcik and husband Ray of Dover, Sheila Ware of Russellville, Judy Roberts and husband Mike of north Little Rock, Susan Flack of Russellville, Ladonna McNew and husband Terry of Conway; two sisters, Pearl Turney of Russellville, Lois Killingsworth of Wichita, KS; twenty four grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; four special friends, Renee Morton, Susie Beasly, Jerry Rollans, Wendall and Paula Whitehead. Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Bob Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
