Obituary

Virgie Nell Carrouth Riddle age 97 of Danville passed away Friday, July17, 2020 at Mitchell's Nursing Home.

Sister Virgie was born June 22, 1923 in Dutch Creek, Arkansas to the late Arch & Bevie Herring Carrouth. She was a member of the Danville Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and she was retired from Wayne Farm. Sister Virgie taught Sunday School for many years. She and Rev Luther was always very active in the Boggs Springs Youth Camp.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Luther Riddle; daughter, Lawana Fowler; grandson, Troy Lee Fowler Jr. sisters, Mildred Gentry Carrouth, Barbara Ray, Reba Kimbrough; brothers, Harold Carrouth, Wendell Carrouth and Billy Joe Carrouth.

Survivors include her son, Archie & Debbie Riddle of Russellville; granddaughter, Trena Fowler of Centerville; grandsons, Ricky Riddle, David Tucker both of Dardanelle; Charlie Tucker of Russellville; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 am Monday, July 20, 2020 at Macedonia Cemetery with Bro. Kenny Vosburg and Bro. David Tucker officiating.

Great-Grandsons to be pallbearers, Jacob Riddle, Sid Muse, Brandon Tucker, Hayden Tucker, Caleb Tucker and Daniel Goodman.
