Virginia Corine Parker age 88 of Kingwood, Texas, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at Rosemont Nursing Home in Kingwood, Texas. She was born September 24, 1923 in Centerville, Arkansas to the late Edgar and Sally Daniels Benefield. She was a member of the Berta Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Elvin (Red) Parker. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Edgar Lee and Joan Parker of Kingwood, Texas, Douglas and Betty Parker of Hot Springs: grandchildren, Lee and Greg Gunn of Little Rock, Erin and Jonathan Lesniewski of Tyler, Texas, Elissa and Sam Moore of Houston, Texas, Emily Parker of Kingwood, Texas, Jason and Krista Parker of Cumming, Georgia, Jamie and Dan McKillips of Orlando Florida; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Jack Gunn and Miles Erwin of Little Rock, Kaylee and Annabelle Lesniewski, Maren and Landon Parker, and Danielle McKillips. Graveside service will be Monday, 2:00 p.m. at Havana Cemetery with visitation at 1:00-2:00 p.m. before the service at the cemetery. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
