Fern Sanford Virginia Fern "Springer" Sanford age 74 of Dardanelle died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at River Valley Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1938 at Booneville to the late Rev. Harrison and Ona Lillian Reed Springer. She was a member of the Faith Church in Dardanelle, she loved to play the piano, sing and write music. Most of all she loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant sister, Ona Marie Springer; two brothers, Jim Springer, Geral Springer. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Larry Sanford of Dardanelle; one daughter, Carrie Eviline Chambers and husband Larry of Dardanelle; two stepsons, Danny Sanford and wife Starla, Billy Sanford and wife Teresa all of Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary Barnard of Booneville, Betty Lowery and husband W.C. of Havana; four brothers, Rev. Tom Springer and wife Beverly of Kentucky, Ben Springer and wife Marilyn of Booneville, Ralph Springer and wife Margie of Arizona, John Springer of Oklahoma; one grandson, Matthew Debow of Dardanelle; one step grandson, Justin Sanford of Oklahoma and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Faith Church in Dardanelle with Rev. Tom Springer officiating. Burial will be in Carolan Cemetery in Booneville.
