Viva Augustine Cody Brixey age 83 of Bryant's Cove, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at The Pavillion of Lebanon in Lebanon, Tennessee. She was born July 31, 1941 in Casa, Arkansas to the late C.C. Cody and Celestia Robinson Cody. Viva loved sewing, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Dewayne Brixey and her son, Shawn Brixey.

Survivors include her children, Shannon Adkison and husband Mark; siblings, Jean Selvey and husband Jim, Ewell Cody; sister-in-law, Mary Cody; grandchildren, Morgan Belcher and husband Ryan, Sam Bly, Hallie Brixey, Blake Brixey and great grandchildren, Lily Belcher, Hayden Brixey, Shawn Mills, Lexi Mills, Byron Brixey and Emberlyn Bly.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00A.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle with Gene Tanner officiating. Burial will be private in Bryant's Cove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
