Vivian Christine Underwood age 93 of Danville passed away September 4, 2016 at Mitchell's Nursing Home.

She was born November 12, 1922 in Dallas Texas to the late Homer Clifton "H.C." & Flora Eunice Andrews Minnis. Vivian was a member of the Danville United Methodist Church, a member of the choir, and the Spring Creek E.H. Club. She was a mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John V. Gibson Jr. and O.A. "Buzz" Underwood; son, James Claude Gibson; brothers, James McCoy Minnis and William Karl Minnis.

Survivors include her son & daughters-in-law, John & Nan Gibson of Morrilton; Eva Jane Gibson of Danville; grandchildren, James Claude Gibson Jr of Danville; Clifton "Mack" Gibson (Crissy) of Conway; John & Lori Gibson of Houston, TX.; Johnette & Shawn Socha of Morrilton; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Special thank you to her adopted family at Mitchells' Nursing Home.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Wednesday September 7, 2016 at the Danville United Methodist Church with Bro. Tom Sullinger officiating.

Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery.
