Obituary

Vivian Noon, 89, of Rover went to be with the Lord, February 24, 2013 at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. Vivian was born February 6, 1924 to Frank and Phoebe Light Welker in the Gilkey community. She was a member of the Rover Baptist Church, loved being with her family, gardening and ballgames. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stanley Noon; sister Meda Welker and brother Quintin Welker. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Sonny Lofland; grandchildren, Lisa and Rickey Crawford, Bud Lofland and Robert Whitten; great grandchildren, Reid Crawford, Ryan Crawford, and Hope Fowler; great-great granddaughters, Airastyn Novinger and Ayden Tate; nephew Rusty Welker and niece Jo Wince; as well as four great nieces Ashley Wince, Jamie Wince, Erika Swimmer and Phoebe Welker. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 26, at 2 PM at the Rover Baptist Church with burial at the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 2 PM at the church before service. Pallbearers will be Bud Lofland, Rickey Crawford, Ryan Crawford, Robert Whitten, Rusty Welker and Billy Marshall.
