Walter Everett Shaffer age 75 of Russellville passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born July 31, 1946 in Mount Harris, Colorado to the late Leonard Gerald Shaffer and Theola Ebsen Shaffer. He was a member of the Home Church in Dardanelle, he was a United States Navy Veteran, he loved Jesus, his family, The Broncos, and of course the New York Yankees. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Connie Shaffer; one sister, Dorothy Pursley and two brothers, Rene Shaffer and Daniel Shaffer.

Survivors include his two children, Teresa Rantanen (John), Eddie Shaffer (Kristi); one sister, Rayma Yagadich (Bob); three brothers, Don Shaffer (Cha Sun), Leonard Shaffer (Marilyn), Gordon Shaffer (Lenora); ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Home Church in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:30P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the Home Church in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
