Wanda Eloise Cody age 70 of Casa entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born August 5, 1951 in Russellville, Arkansas to Jesse Lee "JL" Wood and Emma Rachel Nelson Wood. She was a devoted wife, mother and Grams and she lived a life for her family. She was a member of the Oppelo First Baptist Church and  was preceded in death by her father, JL Wood; two sisters, Vivian Crain, Rachel White and one brother, Larry Gene Wood.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ewell Cody; her mother, Rachel Lytle; three daughters, Tina Parish (Nathan), Lisa Tanner (Gene), Connie Fisher (Barry); two sisters, Brenda Newsom (James), Joan Hanna (Arlie); two brothers, Joe Lytle, Carl Lytle; four grandchildren, C.J. Tanner, Zachary Parish, Alex Tanner, Baylee Fisher and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M., Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Oppelo First Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Tanner officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 10:00A.M. to 11:00A.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and her sons-in-law.
