Wanda Faye Ritter

Wanda Faye Ritter age 89 of Plainview passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

Wanda was born May 18, 1937 in Checotah, Oklahoma to the late Floyd & Elsie May Scott Treadwell. She attended the Parker Hill Holiness Church in Russellville. She was a mother and homemaker.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sam Ritter; 2 sisters, 3 brothers.

Survivors include her children, Brenda & Paul Brothrs, Preston Ritter , and Pamela & Glen Smith; sister, Janie & Harris Moore, Tulsa, OK.; brother, Carl & Geralyn Treadwell, Gore, OK.; grandchildren, Stephen & Trisha Brothers, Samentha & Tim Lantz, Adam & Cindy Brothers, Sabrina Blossom Perry-Edwards (Robert) and Richard & Robyn Smith; 11 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, 1great-great-great-grandson.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Brandon officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday July 31, at the Dardanelle Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Stephen Brothers, Adam Brothers, Zachary Brothers, Tim Lantz, Richard Smith and Thomas Irons.

Honorary pallbearers include Paul Brothers, Glen Smith, Stephen

Davis, Hayden Smith and Tyler Smith.
