Wayne "Waynie" Alan Rector, 65, a resident of Conway Human Development Center, a loving and caring brother, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. He was born May 23, 1955 in Russellville, Arkansas to Walter Roy & Geraldine Ann Rector.

Wayne was a Catholic and was baptized on July 4, 1955 at St. John's Catholic Church in Russellville, Arkansas.

Wayne had a contagious smile that would light up the room when you meet him. He enjoyed sitting in the sun with his dad hammering all day long or shooting his toy guns while visiting during the summer. He enjoyed his mom giving him ice cream at the end of the day! He loved to eat and a couple of his special treats was what Granny Sybil & Aunt Madge would make and bring over, Chicken & Dumplings, Dressing, and pies! He loved our visits to Conway on the weekends when we would take him out to watch the airplanes, go to the Dairy Queen, sometimes the movies. He loved the cartoons and the Three Stooges. It was a blessing to hear his laughter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Roy & Geraldine Ann Rector, one sister Sandra Judkins. Grandparents Sybil Nail, Melvin "Doc" Rector, Ruth Cavanaugh, & Joseph Cavanaugh.

Wayne is survived by his brother Richard Rector (Sunni) of Fort Smith, AR, sisters, Cindy Mullen (Marty) of Gravette, AR, and Brenda Borden (Shelly) of Vilonia, AR., brother-in-law Ricky Judkins of Conway, AR, Uncle Donnie Rector of Centerville, AR, Aunt Madge Carothers of Centerville AR, and Aunt Rosie Danks of Hibbing, MN. Four nephews, Michael Mullen, Chris Mullen, Scott Borden, Tyler Borden.  Seven nieces, Melissa Crowson, Bridgette Wells, Sarah Wasson, Mary Gregory, Leeann Glass, Abby Rector, & Jaydyn Rector. Several cousins, great nephews and great nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Scott Garland Borden, Tyler Max Borden, Christopher Ray Mullen, Michael Blaine Mullen, Ronnie Awalt, Clay Awalt and Rick Judkins.
